Ragava Lawrence try to come marina but police not allowed

Tamil actor Raghav Lawrence has been hospitalised to Pallava Hospital after complaining of pain in his neck. Recently the actor was at Marina beach taking part in the protests. Seen protesting alongside youngsters at Marina beach, he was uncomfortable. He was also spotted wearing a neck guard. But he continued his support to lift the ban on Jallikattu, the bull taming sport. He also provided food and other basic necessities worth of Rs 1 Crore to the people who participated in this protest.

It all stared when apex court had taken this decision in May 2014, over the argument that bulls cannot be used as performing animals, and get hurt as a result. So many Tamilians felt the order of the Supreme Court is quite harsh, and therefore this led to several protests across the state, backed by movie stars and politicians. This movement was even labelled as Makkal Movement. Actors like Rajinikanth, Ajith, Kamal Haasan, Suriya, Dhanush, Karthi, Prabhu, Sivakarthikeyan and others have joined the day long protest held in Chennai, with many including Oscar winner AR Rahman, going for a 1-day hunger strike.

After seen the huge turnout for the movement, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister O Panneerselvam held discussions with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and as well as consulted with legal experts. So they came to the decision to amend the act on Prevention of Cruelty to Animals to allow Jallikattu to be held in the state. The ordinance has been sent to the President of India to get his approval. And if latest reports are to be believed the ordinance was passed by Tamil Nadu state governer.
